A Dynamic multi-ethnic ensemble from Holland,Hot Black Stuff will for the first time be staging a two day concert in Malawi.The trio composed of Rich Oscraft,Ivan Cameron and Omar Hester first came to the public attention with their acclaimed headlining showcase the Fantasy World Show-thebiggest Las Vegas-style extravaganza in the Benelux.Giving the Blantyre fans a Gala night on Friday and an open space mix of pop, funk,latin,jazz and Broadway standard of music on Saturday at the French Cultural Centre on 26th and 27th October respectively,Hot Black stuff is ready to make a mission statement to all music lovers in the country.This music act has perfomed with great success throughout Holland,Germany,Belgium and Portugal and recently made their debut in Africa with a sold out concert at Harare International Festivalof Arts in Zimbabwe making Malawi their second destination before heading back to Holland.
"Its very special to come back to my roots and perfom to my people"said Rich,of the perfomance adding that he hoped that they would be as many patrons as possible. Oscroft the leader of the group whose father comes from Chikwawa in the southern region of Malawi, intends to take a trip to the countryside for site seeing, after the show on sunday "I have a lot of family members who have never seen me and i hope to meet them"he explained.Hot Black stuff's perfomance is among the few concerts lined up byFCC before the end of the year.
